MOW FOOD BANK - delivered necessities to COBEM & Mon Refugee Boarding School

Meals on Wheels food bank reached COBEM on 25 July 2012 to deliver the daily necessities to the residents there.

Here's a rundown on our food bank delivery:

Donated necessities from our kind sponsors who gave generously from their hearts. Items not in the list are also donated.

We visited the ethnic group of the Mon Refugee School. It was a late afternoon and the female students who live there were making handmade beads to sell in fairs/Sunday markets to earn an extra income. All the students sleep on the floor with a layer of blanket and no mattresses.

Mehm bi Jae is a top student in his class at the Mon Refugee School. He studies and lives here as his parents are working in Puchong. 

From left to right: Bro. Andre, Mehn Ong Mon and Bro. Ivan. Mehn Ong Mon is an orphan; his parents went missing a few months ago. He is a top student in a computer course and is hoping to continue his this course through education sponsorship from donors.

At The COBEM office – MOW delivered all the dry food stuff and requisites to COBEM to be distributed to to the respective ethnic groups within the Klang Valley.
