MOW FOOD BANK - Ti-Ratana Meals on Wheels to Myanmmar Refugee School 20 Nov 2011

This is a basic school (Myanmmar Learning Centre) set up by Myanmmar refugees consists of 26 students. Our volunteer Bro Ivan Yap visited them 2 weeks ago at Bt Maluri.

The school do not provide lunch but parents prepare for their own children and during tea break, they are sometimes are given biscuits or sometimes they may not have sufficient. The biscuits are sometimes donated by shop nearby or the school teacher buy for children.The Myanmmar teachers are also volunteers.

We are fortunate that this time our volunteer Aunty Evelyn managed to get food sponsor from M & W Healthy Vegetarian Restaurant (Www.mwvegetarian.com) - a vegetarian Restaurant from Kepong.

Donors are welcome to deliver the items directly to the school  (address as stated above) or if you can't make it, you may send it to our centre by 18 Nov 2011 (Fri) before 4pm . Before, you deliver or purchase any of the above goods, kindly email us to reconfirm whether it has been fully taken.Your kind coorperation is very much appreciated.

Children's clothes (Todlers to teenagers) which are in GOOD conditions are welcome too.

Make your way to meet us at our centre by 9.00am, there will be a briefing, sharing of merits and we shall convoy together to the school.We do not provide transport but if you wish to car pool with other volunteers, do ensure they bring you back to centre.
