The rain did not dampen the spirit of the children at SK La Salle Sentul at their Children’s Day celebration in the afternoon of 2nd November 2012.
Ti-Ratana Meals on Wheels arrived just as the event was about to start with prayers and speeches. But it was obvious the children were eagerly awaiting the highlight of that afternoon, as they were getting restless and not listening to the speeches.
And when the clown appeared, there was such a thunderous applause!

We were treated to some refreshments in the school canteen, which reminded me of how tasty my old school’s simple fried meehoon and curry puff were ... how I missed those carefree school days!
When we left about an hour later, the children were still having lots of fun with the clown and his balloons and other antics.
It was a special day for the children, and Ti-Ratana Meals on Wheels is delighted to have participated in the celebration. This would not have been possible without the support of our generous donors who contributed to the party packs and food bags:
