Ti-Ratana Meals on Wheels Food Bank program for October 2012 was timely for the Muslim and Indian families to celebrate Hari Raya Haji and Deepavali respectively.
Families in PPR Gombak and Sentul received their groceries on 23rd October 2012.
On the day we brought groceries to Mr Maran and Pn Vijaya, they were about to bring their 12 year old OKU son, Sasitharan to the hospital as he was not well.
The two families in Jinjang received their groceries on 27th October, 2012. Bro Andrew kindly sponsored fresh vegetables for the families and friends of Bro Andrew and Bro Ivan sponsored McDonalds' treat for the children.
The Maran family requested for help to buy school uniforms, shoes and other school supplies for their children for the new school year in Jan 2013. They have five school-going children but not all of them are getting free school uniforms from the school. It seems the school has a policy of giving aid to only one child from one family.
There are another ten children in the other families in our Food Bank program who will also need support for school supplies.
